20 June
Summanus

Summanus was the god responsible for the night sky, and especially for lightning at night. He is often associated with Jupiter, who amongst other things was responsible for storms and thunderbolts during the day. In any case, Summanus had a temple of his own at Rome, near the Circus Maximus, and his festival took place on June 20th every year. There was a public sacrifice, and the god was also offered wheel-shaped cakes called summanalia.
